really trying to dedicate myself to reviving my creative self. was talking to my therapist yesterday and we kind of got at the heart of some of my procrastination "techniques" so to say. got up this morning, which is mostly a free day (i have a half shift at 8pm tonight), and asked myself what i wanted to do. decided i would just get some breakfast, watch TV for an hour then get to work. but i decided to do all of this at the kitchen/livingroom table instead of in bed like i usually do, thinking that might motivate me. it actually worked. cleaned the table off so i'd have a nice space, and cracked out about 700 words on my wizard's tower proj

would like to revitalize my portfolio a bit in time. have been doodling some characters and writing a bit. i've been working on a project, which is currently a written rough draft titled "wizard's tower" about a girl in 1983, trying to beat an impossible arcade game. it's got magic and vaporwave vibes. i also scratched out a couple paragraphs for a space opera vanity project about a lonely space pharmacist who goes by the alias nova. various other characters include mrs. sneep, the space snail who runs mrs. sneep's space junk emporium, a glorified thrift store--and buzz, nova's gunslinging boyfriend who works locally (at least as locally as s
